About this site
This site came about in 1997, when I bought my first "new" CT in some years, a 1986 CT-110, after several years without a bike. I went looking on the net for information about the CT series and found... nothing.
I realized that I had as much wisdom about these machines as anyone, and so I set this site up, and a couple of years later started the mailing list that accompanies it. I put up my experience up on the page, experience in dealing with half a dozen CTs, from the 1970 and 1971 bikes I learned to ride on back in the early 1970s, to the several CT90s I had during college. And then I waited to see who showed up.
These days, the site gets several thousand hits a week, the mailing list has several thousand members worldwide, representing about 5000 bikes. The collected knowledge of site visitors and list members has long since surpassed my own.
This is a completely owner- and enthusiast-driven site... we have no advertising, we are not affiliated with nor sponsored by Honda or any of its many divisions. I'm not even sure they're aware we exist, since we're fans of a bike that last sold new in the United States more than twenty years ago.
This is all about the bikes, and about the owners. I run this on my own time and with my own server and money. I don't seek advertising or sponsorship, and both the site and the mailing list are completely free for you to use.
Bike on.
