1980 Red CT-110
This is a 1980 CT-110. The 1980 model was rather strange, and therefore rare, in that it is the only CT-series sold in the United States without dual gearing. Notice that there's no dual-range subtransmission on the left side of the engine case. That's right, this bike had four gears, no more. No one is really sure why they did this, since the 1979 had it, the 1981 had it, and the engine case was largely identical throughout this period. What's more, the gearing was always one of the CT-series' most popular features. Whatever the reason, these are rather uncommon bikes. This one features the standard turn signals, the optional extra fuel can on the left rear, and this one has a broken taillight. It also appears that this one is missing its chain guard.
